Social Wellness Week

This week we will be talking about Social Wellness as we continue our 8-dimensions of wellness series. Social wellness is your ability to connect with others and maintain strong relationships. It can be achieved by surrounding yourself with positive people and being comfortable with who you are in social environments.

Social Wellness is important because building and maintaining relationships with others helps maintain your mental and physical health, it allows you to share your life experiences and stories with others and allows you to get involved in your community.

Expand your social network to improve your Social Health!

Take the time to develop your social support network. Make some new friends or strengthen the healthy relationships you currently have. The effort you put into fostering these relationships have many long-term benefits for your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
